The features and specs of Apple's new iPad Pro and Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 are compared here to give you an idea on which of the two is performing best. The new iPad Pro tablet is five percent longer and 10 percent wider than the Surface Pro 3 of Microsoft. The iPad Pro also has three color options: the silver and gold models have both white fronts, and the other space gray model has a black front, while the Surface Pro 3 only has a black front and silver backing.

Gizmag said the display size of 12.9'' of iPad Pro is bigger as compared to 12'' display of Surface Pro 3. The display of both tablets is one of the biggest things that customers keep an eye on.

The tablets have keyboard accessories, and are sold separately. There's no reason to buy an iPad Pro or Surface Pro 3 without also getting the keyboard. Why buy a ginormous tablet if you can't also use it as a laptop? So be sure to include the keyboard when buying any of the two.

The dimensions of iPad Pro are 12x8.68x.27 inches with a weight of 1.57 pounds while the Surface Pro is 11.5x7.93x.36 inches and has a weight of 1.76 pounds. The iPad Pro is declared winner as it has a larger display and lighter in weight as well.

Tech First Post reported that Apple's iPad Pro uses Apple A9X chipset and has a RAM of 4 GB. The Surface Pro 3 uses an Intel4th Generation Core i3 CPU and with 4 GB and 8 GB RAM. 

The 8MP rear camera of iPad Pro comes with a 1.2MP front facing camera. Both the front camera and rear camera of Surface Pro 3 comes with 5MP along with 1080p video recording features. The rear camera of iPad Pro is impressive as compared to Surface Pro 3.
