Haylie Duff, famous sister of more famous singer/actress Hillary Duff, has sold her Toluca Lake home in Los Angeles for $1.7 million. The older Duff had listed the home sometime in September 2012 asking for $1.8 million. The modest home has now sold at a slight loss.
News of the sale was first broken by the Trulia Blog. According to the listing records, the home was built in 2007 and is relatively plain for a celebrity. However, the home is situated in a perfect location at the heart of the Toluca Lake neighborhood.
The single family home claims footage of 4064 square feet and contains five bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Along with central heating and cooling, the home also has built in sound systems. A spacious living room and a formal living room can be used to entertain guests. The family room has a cozy fireplace and opens up to a modern kitchen that also features a breakfast bar.
All the bedrooms have attached bathrooms. The master suite has two walk-in closets and a large fireplace as well. The bathroom in the master bedroom features frameless glass shower area and a free soaking tub as well.
Outside the home provides an open patio, grassy yards and a swimming pool all encompassed within a gated community.
Haylie has been keeping a low profile for a while. She appeared in mediocre TV series like "Slightly Single in LA" and "Massholes". However, she has a series of projects lined up. Her upcoming movie "40 is the New Dead" is wrapping up production. She will also be starring in the TV series "Blackout".
Hillary and Haylie have done some work together. Their recent music video "Our Lips are sealed" did reasonably well.
Hillary recently had a baby boy with Mike Comrie. She opened up about the birthing experience in an interview with The Insider.
