In addition, it was told and speculated that the working title for the adapation would be, "Kuroko's Basketball: The Movie."

Anime News Network adds that Tadatoshi Fujimaki has launched his original manga series in the mangazine Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 2008. Last year, the "30th and final compiled volume" had been published in Shueisha, while the sequel manga had been published in Shueisha's "Jump Next" magazine back in December 29. Report says that the series has already sold over 27 million copies as of April 2015.

As for the anime, the first series was based off the manga and ran on the small screen from April to September 2012. However, the second season has only premiered on October 2014 and ran until March 2015. The first 2 seasons have been streamed outside Japan via Crunchyroll. The "Kuroko's Basketball" anime 3rd season has debuted its first episode in January. It has been streamed first by Daisuki then later by Crunchyroll.
