Kassie DePaiva has confirmed her exit from Days of Our Lives, days after the news of Kassie's exit on Sunday morning. She thanked fans for the kudos she has received in the past few weeks of the storyline via her official website. "Eve's loss ... forced me to go to a very dark place that no one ever wants to go to in 'real life','' Kassie shared.

TV Line reported that Kassie DePaiva is a two-time Daytime Emmy nominee who affirms that her hourglass was running out at Days of Our Lives. She stated "It saddens me to have been let go from the show just as Eve was finally finding her footing ... But that is the way the soap business goes.''  

Kassie, who made her debut Days of Our Lives in June 2014 for the role that was previously played by Arrow's Charloette Ross, is expected to appear on screen for several more months due to a large lead time.

Actress Kassie DePaiva only joined Days of Our Lives last year, taking the role of Even, who was portrayed by Charlotte Ross from 1987 to 1991. DePaiva wrote on her official website "As the sand runs out of my hourglass over at Days  ... I have no regrets,'' She further said that she had a truly remarkable experience at Days of Our Lives. It really saddens her to have been let go from the show ... but that is how the Soap business goes, characters come and go. But fortunately, the stories still go on. So keep watching for another more years of Days of Our Lives.

According to TV Guide, Serial Scoop which first broke the ouster of DePaiva and also reports that she will continue to be seen on the show for several months as the Days films were so far made in advance. It is also confirmed that she will be singing in the Christmas episode.
