The moment Director Tetsuro Araki confirms that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 is a go is the same moment the delay, spoilers and rumors never cease to run out. Most of the speculations are about the death of Levi, and then the recent one is about the rebellion that would be led by Erwin Smith. 

Movie New Guide reports that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 would finally be happening in 2016. Fans have been wishing for season 2, and it has been a long wait since season 1 ended in 2013. The excitement could not be contained because fans are constantly asking about the storyline of the upcoming installment of "AoT."

Hints are resurfacing about the plot of season 2 since Director Tetsuro Araki has explained the reason of the delay. According to him, he is still waiting for 2 more story arc of the manga for him to start working on the second season of "Attack on Titan." If fans could remember, "the first season of the TV series adaptation of "Shingeki no Kyojin" covered four story arcs." Similarly, season 2 will also cover 4 story arc. So fans could already figure that the 2 previous episodes of the manga series are part of the season 2 TV adaptation.

There are other rumors that could not be dismissed by some fans. One of which is the death of Levi Ackerman. Many believe that he would die in the second season of the manga series, which would also happen eventually in the anime series. Levi would die as a hero because he would save the life of Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert.

Latin Times also states that another rumor of "Attack On Titan" season 2 is that Erwin Smith would stir up and lead a rebellion against the king. Apparently, the king is not a genuine member of the royal family. The real royal family is none other than the Reiss family. However, the secret of the Reiss family will also be revealed- that they have the ability to transform as titans like Erin and Annie.
