After those relationship bombshells in the season eight finale, get prepared for the next Big Bang Theory Season 9, which is set to catch up with stars Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik. Executive producer Steve Molaro will add an exclusive scoop on what's coming up for season nine.
UK Celebrity said as Molaro confessed to ET, that their goal for season nine is to keep the show "fresh, fun and funny'' and one of the ways to do that was to make Sheldon and Amy enjoy a good relationship. The show runner explained, "I understand where Amy was at.'' The show runner thinks Amy loves Sheldon, and she knows that Sheldon loves her in whatever way he's capable of.
Molaro added, "It may make you want to take a step back and be like, 'I care about this guy lot but am I doing the right thing long term for myself?'" While Amy is figuring out if she wants to continue with the relationship agreement, it will be frustrating for Sheldon because "he cannot apply science and logic to get an answer'' in order to mend things.
According to Movie Web, Mayim Bialik is one of the stars to watch for when Big Bang Theory Season 9 starts. Bialik was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, for her role as Amy Farrah Fowler in the hit CBS show. She lost the award to Mom star Allison Janney, but she remained in high spirits throughout the show. Before attending the show, she talked with TVLine about Sheldon and Amy's romantic hiccup. Bialik confirmed that the two will remain in a holding pattern throughout much of the fall.
The Big Bang Theory Season 9 premiere will see Leonard and Penny tying the knot. After the ceremony, the longtime couple will head back to their hotel room, where they'll have an awkward wedding night in true Leonard and Penny fashion.
