Matt Drudge, owner of the news aggregation website, Drudge Report, is expanding his 4-acre property in the Southwest of Miami-Dade County as he recently dropped a cool $700,000 on an adjoining 4.7 acre property. The estate was first listed in 2012 with an asking price of $950,000.
According to the deed stamp tax documents, Drudge made full cash payment to the owners of the land: Omar, Osama, Diana, Nadia, Sharif and Samy Hussein.
In August 2011, Drudge purchased the four acre property, which came with a 6500 square feet home for $1.4 million. Combining the existing property and the newly acquired one, Drudge will now be the owner of 10 acres of sprawling rural estate, reports Zillow.

Located Southwest of 157 Street in the Redland neighborhood, the newly purchased terrain not only provides sprawling land space but also includes a five bedroom-five bath home measuring up to 4600 square feet.
Drudge already owns over 8 acres of land in South Florida. The blogger bought a condo at La Gorce Place condominiums on North Bay Road in 2002. He then purchased a 7500 square feet beach-front home off the Venetian Causeway for around $1.4 million.
The Drudge Report was one of the first news sources to break the Monica Lewinsky Scandal. Drudge reports published the story after Newsweek, a prominent news magazine of the country, decided not to publish the story.
Drudge Report was recently publicizing the more recent, over-hyped charge of Bob Woodward, a veteran writer with Washington Post who claimed that he was threatened by the country's economic adviser, Gene Sperling, for criticizing the Obama administration.
Drudge Report also contributes occasional opinion pieces penned by Matt Drudge himself. His opinions are considered to be conservative.
