The beach house of Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl in the coastal area between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara is on the market and listed for $2.995 million. The music icon won two Emmys for songs from "Sonic Highways,'' which is an HBO series about the making of the album.

According to Zillow, Dave shares about his music album and if it is "a love letter to the history of American music,'' then his house by the beach is an invitation to beachgoers.

The spacious 3,088-square-foot property with heavenly ocean views sits right on the beach, with windows showing the Pacific Ocean. The house has great features of open living space and an expansive master suite with soaking tub.

The house has four bedrooms and four baths, and offers dramatic, high-beamed ceilings, a private balcony, fireplaces to feel warm in the evenings and a spacious garage for four cars.

Buki Burke of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services California Properties is the listing agent.

The nearly 3,100-square-foot beach house of Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl in Oxnard is up for sale. The spacious property sits along the beach and takes in the ocean views. The house features vaulted beam ceilings that add visual drama in the water-facing open living room.

The Los Angeles Times said that the state-of-the-art kitchen of the house sits between the living and dining rooms. The master suite features a fireplace and balcony that give total comfort for this four-bedroom and four-bathroom house.

The one-time Nirvana drummer Grohl, 46, is the frontman and a guitarist for the rock band, which have just marked the 20th anniversary of its first album. The guitarist broke his leg this summer while performing for Foo Fighters' eighth studio album during the Sonic Highways tour. The frontman of the band is back in the U.S. performing seated in a customized throne.

Records show that Dave Grohl paid $3,783,500 for the property nine years ago.
