Swift sold the home for almost $1 million profit, because she managed to make some renovations while she was there. The kitchen, bathrooms, and the septic tank all got a makeover, helping Swift reel in a profit for the estate.

"It was like a house-flip," a source said in an interview with Vanity Fair. "A good short-term investment."

Swift still hasn't denied whether she bought the Hyannis Port mansion to be closer to Connor.

In an interview with Vanity Fair she said, "people say that about me that I apparently buy houses near every boy
I like - that's a thing that I apparently do. If I like you I will apparently buy up the real-estate market just to freak you out so you leave me. Like that makes sense, like that's something you should do."
