The fans of The Good Wife Season 7 will see the alcoholic tendencies of Alicia Florrick. Leading lady Julianna Marguilies revealed that her fondness of wine may soon become more than just a joke.

"I think Alicia might have a drinking problem," the Emmy winner told Jane Pauley. "She's lonely. And I think wine is numbing her out a little bit. And I think that's something we might address in Season 7," the actress added.

According to TV Line, Vanessa Williams will be joining The Good Wife Season 7 as the love interest of Eli.

When "The Good Wife" Season 7 returns this November, Vanessa Williams will be joining the favorably acclaimed drama series. Williams will be featured as Courtney Boalt. Her character is a self-made businesswoman who is exceptionally prosperous. Courtney is interested in backing Peter Florrick's (Chris Noth) campaign for President, and meets Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), creating a mutual attraction.

Yibada said that Robert and Michelle King, the showrunners and executive producers of "The Good Wife" said of the show that, "There are very few names you can put side-by-side that make you laugh." The producers also appear to be excited about the recurring role of Vanessa Williams.

Louisville Orchestra reported that Vanessa Williams is one of the most respected actresses in the entertainment industry today. Her appearance in Season 7 brings something new for the series.

The Good Wife's previous season was thrilling to the core, and it appears that as Season 7 draws near, more thrilling scenes are to be expected as well.

The cast of "The Good Wife" include Julianna Marguilies, Christine Baranski, Matt Czuchry, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Alan Cumming, Zach Grenier and Cush Jumbo. Scott Free Productions and King Size Productions produce "The Good Wife'' in association with CBS Television Studios.

There will be much fire and spectacular plotlines when the seventh season of "The Good Wife''  returns. The new season will premiere on the CBS Television Network this Sunday, Oct. 4 (9:00-10:00 pm, ET/PT).
