The fans of 'Days of Our Lives' are preparing to see one of the series' wildest resurrections to ever happen. In HBO's Last Week Tonight, John Oliver focused on the countless difficulties being faced by refugees seeking asylum in less-hostile countries. In the show, a special gift was also given to 16-year-old Syrian refugee Noujain Mustaffa, who learned English by watching 'Days.' Like many fans, she couldn't forgive the NBC soap for killing off EJ DiMera (played by James Scott).

According to TV Line, John Oliver did not only revive EJ in a fashionable way -- he also reunited the no-longer-dead Brit with his true love, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). The two gives Mustaffa a special shoutout, when EJ had done explaining the insane details of his resurrection.

On "Last Week Tonight,'' John Oliver did follow his regular formula, but it was not much for his audience, but for a single Syrian migrant teenager named Noujain Mustaffa.

Wall Street Journal said that on the report about the migrant crisis in Europe, Oliver turned his attention to Mustaffa, a wheelchair-bound, aspiring astronaut who is seeking asylum in Europe. While John Oliver wasn't able to do anything on the refugee status of Noujain Mustaffa, he was still able to manage to make her dreams come true by doing, in his words, a "very small'' thing.

Mustaffa's obsession with the American soap "Days of Our Lives'' was noticed by Oliver. It was through the TV series that the Syrian teenager learned how to speak English -- just by just watching the soap opera. Like any fan, she became sad over the death of her favorite character EJ DiMera. So, Oliver got James Scott, who played EJ on "Days,'' together with his co-star Alison Sweeney (Sami DiMera) to stage a one-night-only resurrection of the character.

In the true fashion of the soap-opera, EJ's resurrection is courtesy of some German witch doctors. The character isn't much interested in discussing the details of how he was brought back to life.
