A mobile app startup company which offers interactive tours of properties has raised $500,000 in a seed round led by Hamilton Ventures, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Ten Eight offers a "virtual and interactive tour booklet app that allows brokers and their clients the ability to store floor plans and flyers, rate commercial properties, take pictures, take notes, and evaluate building options side by side," the company says on its website. The startup plans to use the seed funding for product development and sales and marketing.
The Atlanta-based company aims to become the go-to app for brokers who can use their app to show off a property's building information, floor plans and marketing flyers.
"It's downloadable, it's interactive, you can take photos, you can take notes, and it's all saved to the cloud," said Braswell, a former commercial real estate broker. "It eliminates about 2-3 hours creating and binding the tour books," said CEO Patrick Braswell.
"Companies tour five-to-seven buildings, they all start to run together, and they have a hard time making a decision," Braswell said.
Ten Eight also allows companies touring office, retail or industrial space to score buildings on a scale of 1-to-10, based on eight criteria, including location, rental rates and amenities.
