Downtown Lord Baltimore Hotel offers customers a new way to relax within the property through its plans of opening a rooftop bar where one can chill out with drinks while surveying the city skyline. The hotel is said to be finalizing plans for the rooftop bar, which will be built on the property's 19th floor.

Baltimore Business Journal reports that the site of the future rooftop bar was mainly used for corporate events. The publication said that according to Doug Baumann, assistant food and beverage director of Lord Baltimore Hotel, their decision to build a rooftop bar was based on feedback from corporate clients.

The rooftop bar, dubbed the LB Sky Bar, will reportedly be open from Wednesday to Saturday starting this fill and will feature space heaters to provide warmth during cold nights. According to Baumann, the opening of the rooftop bar in the fall is just "a sneak peek" of what they're going to open in May, which is expected to be bigger and better.

It was said that Lord Baltimore Hotel's future rooftop bar will feature 60 high top tables and lounge seats. Guests can enjoy specialty cocktails for $12 in the property along with other alcoholic drinks such as beer and wine. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres will also reportedly be served. A smart casual dress code will be implemented in the bar.

According to Booking.com, Lord Baltimore Hotel is just a short walk away from Inner Harbor. The hotel rooms feature 40-inch flat screen TVs, en-suite bathroom and coffee machine. Amenities within the property include a business center, fitness center, restaurant, and bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
