The US housing market is on the rise. According to David Rosenberg, chief economist and strategist at Gluskin Sheff, "The US housing market is on fire and it is always nice when the macro data are in sync with market performance," as reported by Business Insider.

The Business Insider also reported that luxurious and high-end homes are still up in the market for mind-boggling prices. According to Elle Decor, most of the newly constructed U.S. homes are getting smaller however its prices are getting bigger.

The Daily Mail revealed that the most expensive house for sale in the U.S. has 12 bedrooms, 23 bathrooms, own vineyard and parking space for two dozen cars. This is the "Palazzo di Amore" and it is up in the market for $149 million. However, the lowest one on the entry is a five-bedroom home in North Dakota that is in the market for around $2.78 million.

6. Colorado: A Four Peaks Ranch in Snowmass is in listed in the market for $60 million.

7. New Jersey: A stone mansion in Alpine is for sale for $48.8 million.
