Online travel site Expedia has recently come up with a study on hotel etiquette, where they asked Americans to rank the type of guests that irritate them most in hotels. Today Money has listed the results, which include the following as top 3:
According to the Expedia survey, 67 percent voted inattentive parents as the worst hotel guests. These are reportedly the people who let their kids run all over the place and do whatever they want while the parents are busy with something else.
Landing on top 2 in the list are the "hallway hellraisers," which garnered 64 percent in the survey. According to the report, these are the people who make too much noise as they make their way to the elevator or outside the rooms, disrupting the other guests' supposed privacy.
At no. 3 in the list of worst hotel guests are the "complainers," who can be usually found at the concierge, ranting about every little thing about the property. The complainers got 54 percent of the vote of people who answered the survey.
Meanwhile, various publications have come up with reports on worst hotel celebrity guests early in the year. In May, Fox 411 reported that Posh Spice Victoria Beckham is the worst hotel guest ever, according to the people who have traveled with her.
Apparently, the former Spice Girl member has a lot of demands when she stays in a hotel, which includes housekeeping and cleaning the sheets in the room multiple times a day. According to the site, Beckham reportedly complained viciously about her stay in Meadowood Napa Valley a couple of years ago that their three-night stay was made free of charge. However, Beckham's publicist has denied the report.
Scott Disick was also tagged as one of the worst celebrity hotel guests because of his infamous incident in Hotel Jerome in Aspen where he and his friend reportedly crashed their rooms where they allegedly smoked marijuana and drank heavily while having a wild party.
