Mark Ryan has turned down rumors of two plot lines for Transformer 5 movie that revolve around Optimus Prime and Cybertron and another one is involved to an epic battle with Unicron.

The voice actor debunked the statements attributed to him by online publications which have fueled internet rumors in recent weeks about the coverage of Transformers 5. Interestingly, only little is known about the next installment in the franchise.

"I'm totally stunned about the current and false online chatter about TF-5 and comments I did not make! I have never given an official interview regarding TF-5, nor would I even utter the words Unicron or Quintessons! I'm not in a position to! This is all online speculation and hype because I was misquoted from a casual chat with a fan at an event in the UK," Ryan is quoted as mentioned by Movie News Guide.

Since the voice actor has denied the plot involving Optimus and the Unicrons, could it mean that Mark Wahlberg will return to the franchise, despite his earlier statement of giving the role to someone else?

With the rumors about Wahlberg's return, the Dinobots might also appear in the franchise after they became Autobots in Age of Extinction, after Prime's defeat of Grimlock.

The release date of Transformers 5 is currently set on 2017.

Christian Post said fans of "Transformers'' are excited to see the fifth installment of the franchise. Despite changes in the past movies with regard to characters, the $1 billion gross income is enough to prove that the fanbase of the franchise is strong to make such changes.

The confirmed news is that Mark Wahlberg will lead the new movie. As the production is set to start in June 2017, lineup of cast may still possibly change, but the studios are set to having Wahlberg back as their star.
