The Golden State Warriors did a good job last season winning the NBA championship title and even having the MVP title on their side, under Stephen Curry. They almost had the coach of the year last season, as well as the Defensive Player of the year with Draymond Green; however, for critics, those things are not enough and not even near to being impressive.

Though the new NBA season is almost at the doorstep, the performance of Warriors last season and their title match are still being plagued with accusations and criticisms. Some would say that the Golden State Warrior won the NBA title because of sheer luck and that the opponent's lineup is not healthy.

It seems like these criticisms and off-season talks have penetrated the consciousness of the current league's MVP, Stephen Curry. After a period of silence, Stephen Curry finally made some response to the criticisms against his team, his teammates, and most especially against him. However, instead of countering the words of his critics, Curry instead made an apology. Stephen Curry apologized to critics via ftw stating that;

"I apologize for us being healthy, I apologize for us playing who was in front of us. I apologize for all the accolades we received as a team and individually. I'm very, truly sorry, and we'll rectify that situation this year."

Now this is not the first time that someone from the Warriors stood up against criticism. It can be remembered that shooting guard Klay Thompson also made a reply to the comment of Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc River's stating that Warriors needed luck to win the Western Conference. In response Thompson stated via bleacherreport that;

"If we got lucky, look at our record against them last year. I'm pretty sure we smacked them. Didn't they lose to the Rockets? Exactly. So haha. That just makes me laugh. That's funny. Weren't they up 3-1 too? Yeah, tell them I said that. That's funny. That's funny."
