"NCIS: Los Angeles" and "NCIS" crossover will finally happen in Season 7 episode 5 as Michael Weatherly will be appearing as guest star as his character Special Agent Tony DiNozzo.
According to the recap of episode 4 by Christian Today, the team worked on tracking down a bomb which was intentionally left in a crowded location. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) received a mysterious phone call which challenged them to save the people in the square before the bomb explodes.
Later in the episode it was discovered that the caller was Chad (Taylor Nichols), who is the brother of Tyler Brunson (Stephen Wozniak). Brunson was the criminal whom Sam apprehended in the past.
Chad enjoyed giving orders to the agents and threatening them that he would kill a lot of people if they don't obey him. One of the challenges for Sam and Callen in the last episode was to look for the culprit without their phones.
Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) helped by looking for the person who dropped off their phones to locate Sam and Callen; however he was already dead when they found him. Nell (Renée Felice Smith) and Granger (Miguel Ferrer), on the other hand, tried to look for the bomb hidden in the square. In the end, the team was successful in stopping the bomb attack and put Chad behind bars.
In the new episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles," Special Agent Tony DiNozzo will be asking the help of the team to look for a prisoner who has escaped. According to the synopsis reported by the Hollywood Hills, the said fugitive was able to flee his police escort while they were on a flight from Singapore to Los Angeles.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 7 episode 5 is titled "Blame It on Rio" and will air on Monday on CBS.
