Famous talk show host and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey has reportedly dropped $299,900 on a mediocre house in Nashville, Tennessee, according to the Real Estalker.
The most intriguing thing about this purchase is that the home is too ho-hum for the tastes and style of Winfrey, which is leading to speculations that she might have bought the property for a friend, a staff worker or a relative. The Real Estalker suggests that the home is probably meant for Winfrey's father, Vernon Winfrey or his soon to be ex-wife, Barbara Winfrey.
According to the listing records, the home is a 3045 square feet residence sitting on a 0.27 acre lot. Built in 2006, the home has four bedrooms, two full and one half bathroom.
Interiors of the home boast of hardwood, tiled and carpeted flooring with wood framed glass doors and windows. Living spaces include a drawing room, a formal dining room and a sitting room. An open plan eat-in kitchen, a vanity attached to the master bedroom and a lounge are some of its other features.

Winfrey was recently in the coastal town of Vero Beach in Florida for an interview with Gloria Estefan, the Latin songstress. According to Gossipextra.com:
Ever so quietly, media tycoon Oprah Winfrey appeared in the tiny Florida coastal town of Vero Beach this week, where she managed to shop on the main strip without being noticed!
Winfrey, 59, was in town for one of her famous one-on-one interviews with Latin songbird Gloria Estefan, who asked Oprah to visit her in her weekend home on the beach instead of in the bustle of Miami.
