BioWare is said to be working hard on refining Mass Effect: Andromeda before the game's release in December of next year.
With respect to the game's development, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" lead designer, Ian Frazier took to tweeter to commend game producers Michael Gamble and Fabrice Condominas for his hard work and dedication. He tweeted, "Let it be noted, @GambleMike will drag himself through broken glass if that's what it takes to get this game done and top quality." In another tweet he said, "Coincidentally, @Faburisu will cover every single floor with broken glass if that's what he needs to do to ensure a successful game."
With those tweets, fans could not help but wonder how much effort are they talking about. According to Design and Trend, the dedication is obviously geared towards the massive "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" world size which is considered the biggest in the series ever. To support that claim, another twitter post from Frazier, which is more like a teaser rather than an announcement, says, "Space is @mce_markeramp;*# huge." --@jharacampbell #space"
On the other hand, the fan outrage that was triggered in 2012 when "Mass Effect 3" needed a day one DLC for additional $10 shortly after its release by BioWare and EA may also be the reason for all these hard work. According to Kotaku, Mass Effect devotees have expressed disgust through message boards and Reddit for this incident.
Not only was the day one DLC controversial, but it was reported that because the fans hated the game's ending so badly, EA was voted the "worst company in America" for two consecutive years following the incident.
Having said that, it just make sense for BioWare to make it up to the "Mass Effect" fans and assure them that the same mistake won't happen again.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be released next year for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
