Joanna Gaines is an expert at turning the ugliest houses into the most charming homes. Together with her husband Chip, she shares their house flipping adventure on their hit HGTV show, "Fixer Upper." Now, Gaines has launched her latest project: a home furniture and accessories line that showcases her signature rustic-chic design aesthetics.
Called "Magnolia Home Furnishing by Joanna Gaines," the collection is in partnership with Standard Furniture and was unveiled at the International Home Furnishing Market in High Point, North Carolina. It carries home pieces in six different but cohesive themes: primitive, industrial, boho, French-inspired, farm and traditional.
â"This is a dream come true for me. I have always wanted my style to be accessible and available to those looking for new design solutions for their homes," Gaines said in her official press release.
"Joanna Gaines will bring an element to the furniture business that is unrivaled. Her design style and enthusiasm for creating a lifestyle that promotes home and family will resonate with people of all walks of life," Standard Furniture president Todd Evans added.â
Gaines shared photos of her collection on her Instagram account. It includes a variety of home staples, from tables, shelves, lamps, chairs, to beds.
Fans of "Fixer Upper" are already familiar with the warm, industrial-but-chic designs that Gaines incorporates in every house they flip. Favorite materials used are hardwood, metal, and a combination of both.
Meanwhile, husband Chip Gaines also took to Instagram to gush about his wife's latest achievement. "I am just so proud of Jo. She worked incredibly hard and it paid off in spades," he wrote in the caption.
While the collection is only available in wholesale right now, Gaines is currently flipping a worn-out grain barn in Waco, Texas to serve as her showroom. The Waco Tribune reported that on its unannounced soft opening last Oct. 12, more than 1,000 people showed up and excitedly bought knickknacks such as blown-glass vases, carved pumpkins, and rustic cutting boards.
"Magnolia Home Furnishing by Joanna Gains" will be available in retail stores across the U.S. by January 2016. Gaines' show, "Fixer Upper," will return for its third season this December.
