News now came out that the 22-year-old "One Direction" member is single and has just broken up with his girlfriend Sophia Smith. After two years of dating, Payne has just broken up with Smith just days after cancelling the Oct. 20 show in Belfast. The sources of MailOnline said from the article of Hollywood Life that, "Liam and Sophia have split." "Liam is incredibly sad, but is going to keep busy. He really hopes that everybody will respect both his and Sophia's privacy and stop speculating."
As many could recall, a last-minute cancellation was made by the group due to Payne's "sickness." Could this be one of the reasons why the 22-year-old got sick? Poor Liam Payne!
The 22-year-old 1D member even have had plans and had talked about tying the knot with Smith on his interview with Attitude magazine. "We have talked about marriage, but 22 seems a bit young for us." And Payne also replied, "Sophia needs to go off and do what she wants to do. I don't want her to be one of those stay-at-home girlfriends who doesn't really do much."
Payne may be mending a broken heart right now but there is no doubt that the fans and her boy group are there to support him no matter what.
