As Matt Flynn, the current quarterback for the NFL team Oakland Raiders was traded from the Seattle Seahawks, he decided to make a total break and sold his home in the area for about $1.4 million.

Trulia.com reports that Flynn and his wife Lacey Michew lived in the home for less than a year. The player purchased the residence on a mortgage of $1.22 million in May 2012.  On their wedding website, the couple said it took "weeks" for them to find their perfect home- for them and their seven bulldogs.

The residence is a 5800 square feet, single family home, comprising of four bedrooms and three full and one half bathroom. Trulia describes the home as:

The home's features include a spacious gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances and a walk-in pantry, a spa-inspired master retreat, 5 car garage with shop, wine room and laundry rooms on each floor.

The couple had to move out of the place as his trade off to the Oakland Raiders forced them to move to the San Francisco bay area. However, Flynn is struggling with his on-field career now. His sorry performance in the past few games cost him the starting QB position.

More recently, coaches of Oakland raiders announced that 'Terrelle Pryor will open the season as the team's starting quarterback.'

According to NFL.com:

The odds suggest we'll see Pryor and Flynn start games this season. And the odds are even heavier that we'll see a different starting quarterback in Oakland next season.
