Cousins played for 15 minutes in the first half, and scored 13 points and nine rebounds.
DeMarcus Cousins was replaced by Kosta Koufos for the second half of the game.
According to ESPN, Cousins led the Kings in both points and rebounds during the first week of the season, as well as ranked fifth in the league in both scoring (26.5 points) and rebounding (12.0 points) in the first two games of the Sacramento Kings.
The game between the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday became problematic for the Kings. The Kings weren't happy with the 13 fouls they committed in the second quarter, which made the Los Angeles Clippers pull ahead after trailing by 12 points.
Sac Bee said that the second quarter was also the last time to see DeMarcus Cousins, who left at half-time due to a sore right Achilles' tendon. The Kings lost to the Clippers with a final score of 114-109 on Saturday night at the Staples Center. The Kings fell to 1-2 in this season, with two losses both to the Clippers, who are 3-0.
"In general this is probably a tough team for us to play at this moment," the Kings' Coach, George Karl, said. "I think we've played them twice pretty well."
After Cousins left the game, coach Karl started the second half with Rajon Rondo, Darren Collison, Kosta Koufos, Rudy Gay and Willie Cauley-Stein.
In the fourth quarter, the Kings rallied from 12 down to take the lead 96-95 with 6:13 to play.
The Kings weren't able to stop Blake Griffin, who had 37 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals. Chris Paul scored 17 points and 11 assists. DeAndre Jordan pumped up 15 points, 17 rebounds and seven blocks.
