The new Siri powered Apple TV will soon be out in the open and Apple is laying the ground work for it. Apple is said to be on the final stage of finalizing the apps that will go with it when it is released.
Eddy Cue, Apple's Senior Vice President for Internet Software Services, has advised the users that the first thing to do with Apple TV is to enable it. One needs to synchronize it first to an iOS device and the Apple device should also be with the latest operating system. This was previously announced during the Microsoft event last September, as reported by Washington Post.
Among those included in the listing in the apps are NBC and CBS. However, a user needs to be logged in with their cable account in order to access all the contents, while the CBS apps will charge $6 to watch their full program. A fashion channel is also available for the Apple TV and it is an exclusive on the Apple TV (it is Made2Measure), as the report continued.
The set-top box will not be limited to videos. The Cupertino-based tech giant has previously released their tvOS development kit to developers that can create their own apps for the Apple TV, and the device will be capable of a wide range of possible entertainment apps, such as games. The Apple TV's touch sensitive remote control can enable the whole family to enjoy great family games.
These additional functionality with the Apple TV has been possible because of the latest iOS release, 9.1, which will also be the new accessories for the iPad Pro, the Apple Pencil, and the Smart Keyboard cover. The Apple TV is scheduled to be released next week, while the iPad Pro will be released anytime in November, as reported by ArsTechnica.
The most prominent addition the latest iOS is the additional emoji that will greatly enhance a user's texting experience. Tacos, burritos and the extended middle finger are just some of the new available ones on the emoji keyboard.
