Avid fans of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" have something to cheer about. This is after game developer BioWare announced that "surprises" will be revealed for fans on Nov. 7 during the company's N7 Day event, which is an annual developers' celebration, a report from Gamespot said on Tuesday.

Bioware stressed that fans should not expect some "major announcements" about the "Mass Effect: Andromeda." However, the game developer confirmed that fans will surely enjoy the surprises that will be revealed on Saturday. Avid fans and die-hard gamers are also expecting that new details on the "Mass Effect" movie will be announced.

"Ready your omni-tool, throw on your N7 gear, and get ready for a trip to the Citadel, because N7 Day is just through the next Mass Relay. This Saturday, November 7th, we're celebrating the Mass Effect Trilogy with a marathon Extra Life livestream, giveaways, and awesome deals on Mass Effect merch. And while we won't have any major announcements for Mass Effect: Andromeda this N7 Day, keep an eye out on Saturday for some surprises that we're sure you'll enjoy,"  Bioware said, announcing the event via its official blog.

Aside from the company's "surprises" for the "Mass Effect: Andromeda," Gamespot said that  "there will be a livestream event to help raise money for the video game charity, Extra Life. This will involve BioWare developers playing through the entirety of Mass Effect 3's Citadel expansion, with team members asking the community to decide what choices they make as Commander Shepard. BioWare will match every dollar donated up to $10,000."

"BioWare has been quiet about Mass Effect: Andromeda since confirming it for Holiday 2016 on PC and current-gen consoles at E3 2015, but they did tease 'exciting info coming near the end of the year.' As for what BioWare does have planned for N7 Day, you can expect a marathon Extra Life livestream, giveaways through Facebook and Twitter, deals on Mass Effect merchandise through BioWare, and more," PlayStation Lifestyle Net said.
