Last week's episode of "Madam Secretary" revealed how Maria Ostrov is taking some dirty play with her hands by plotting an interrupted assassination towards the Ukrainian president and McCord is left to investigate further to prevent more lives being at stake with the presidential wannabe. Meanwhile the next episode of "Madam Secretary" entitled "Catch and Release" according to Cartermatt details that McCord is set to face again another set of issues involving a deadly American ISIS terrorist and her brother Will.

"Madam Secretary" episodes as previously spoiled by Cartermatt indicated that McCord's brother will be played by "Some Kind of Wonderful" actor Eric Stoltz who in the political drama will be involved in the crisis that is happening in Syria. Though there weren't any revealing details that presents McCord's relationship with her brother, it seems like McCord regards his brother's welfare in the next episode as he is stationed near the incident of the killing on the country. Apart from this knowledge, what will Stoltz' appearance bring in the political drama? Will he bring more fluid and depth on McCord's character and history.

"Madam Secretary" season 2 synopsis revealed that McCord will be facing the "terrorist" issue of the rising danger on Syria and she will be on a "mission" to impose justice for the killing of an aid worker who was said to have been killed by the first American to become an ISIS leader.

Meanwhile, "Catch and Release" will also feature McCord's husband, Henry who is said to be in a complicated situation when Dmitri is asking his help to save Ivan.
