Microsoft Surface Book fans detected issues such as a flickering screen and freezing.

The Microsoft Surface Book has received positive feedbacks; however, just like any other device, it also has cons. There were a few problems detected, which include the flickering screen. Other users have also reported that the device freezes completely, which is quite a serious problem that needs to be resolved.

The Surface Book flickering screen issue occurs when the device is connected to its keyboard using the hinge, or when it is being used as a tablet, The Register reported. Also, the issue was initially linked with the drivers of the device. However, there are some users who have reported to the Microsoft support forum that even with conducting the factory reset and software reloading, the flickering problem still persists.

Some Microsoft Surface Book users, on the other hand, have participated in various relevant forums, describing how the Surface Book models have been freezing, and that they needed to depress the power key for a couple of seconds in order to force restart it.

Majority of the issues that involve device freezing have cropped up in the Surface Book models that are equipped with the Core i7 processor from Intel. These models feature the NVidia GPU, which is built into the keyboard, and is a feature that is not found on its other predecessors.

The Microsoft Surface Book manufacturer has announced that they are fully aware of the problem. They also pointed out that not all users were experiencing it. Microsoft also added that they are already in the process of resolving the issue with an update to the Windows operating system. This simply implies that there is no problem in the Surface Book's hardware and that the said problem can be solved with the latest update.

The Microsoft Surface Book also received good news, Forbes reported. One of it is the sales of the device, which was not affected so far by the said problems that other users have been experiencing.
