"Empire" is back this week after having been temporarily postponed to give way to the World Series.

Fans of the hit drama series had no choice but to wait for another week because of the championship game between the Kansas Royals and New Yorks Mets. Now that the World Series is over, Empire is back with its 6th episode, "A High Hope for a Low Heaven," which will finally reveal what happened to Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray).

In episode 5 entitled "Be True," viewers were left with a major cliffhanger after Hakeem was forcefully taken by an unidentified gang while he was out jogging in a park. According to a related article from Heavy, speculations on who was behind the kidnapping vary, which include Freda, whose father was killed by Lucious. This week, Lucious ( Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji Henson) are expected to overcome their personal differences, and come together to find out who took Hakeem and what happened to their son.

Fox teased the TV series' fans with a preview of what's next for the Lyon dynasty. The promo shows Hakeem's video saying he is still alive. Jamal, one of the Lyon sons, played by actor Jussie Smollet, insists on helping to look for his younger brother. However, his parents refused saying he has to stay away from the situation. Cookie was also shown kissing Laz, portrayed by actor Adam Rodriguez.

Taraji Henson says in an interview for episode 6,"The thing about this dysfunctional relationship Cookie and Luscious have, is as much as they don't like each other, when it comes to their children, they are going to come together."

Will Cookie and Lucious be able to rescue Hakeem on time? Viewers are in for a fired up episode this Wednesday, Nov.4, 9pm.
