In the spirit of the smartwatch era, new rumor surfaced that Verizon is about to announce two new wearables. These new gadgets will be made by LG and targeted for kids. According to a reliable tipster, or leakster for that matter, these new wearables  shall be the "LG GizmoPal 2" and "GizmoGadget".

The "LG GizmoPal 2" is actually a successor to the previously released "GizmoPal", and with that fact in hand, it looks like the new "GizmoPal 2" is a big improvement of its predecessor as the original "GizmoPal" did not have a lot of phone functionality. It just had a screenless body with GPS feature that allows for tracking your kids conveniently. Its phone functionality was limited to calling two people and receiving calls from two approved contacts. There was just one big button, a mic, and a speaker that allows for calling a primary or secondary guardian and receiving calls from two contacts. The one thing that the previous device focused on is ensuring that the device can withstand the durability demands of kids' playground activities, e.g. the monkey bars. The original wearable has an Android and iOS app of its own and this is where the GPS tracking is being made possible, alongside the notifications of your kids anticipated geographical location at your pre assigned schedules.

The new "LG GizmoPal 2" is an improved version of the original release. The device now has a screen and it is expected that it would also come with all of the original device's features, and hopefully it would also come with new default features.

As to the release date and price, no official announcement has been made by LG or Verizon yet. Even in leaks, no release date and cost have been mentioned yet. But basing on the selling behavior of the orginal "GizmoPal" that was launched December of last year with a price tag of $80, we can just assume that similar dates and price will be given to the two new wearables. Plus, the holiday season is coming, this shall be the best time to release the two new kids' gadgets.
