Golden globe winner Melanie Griffith is using her star power to sell her luxurious Aspen Mountain retreat.

CBS Denver reported that Melanie appeared in a YouTube ad campaign listing her posh home in the market for $8.9 million. It has been reported that Bob Bowden, real estate agent said that the unique marketing strategy that Melanie made is most likely the first time for a celebrity to do. Melanie, using her star power to market her own home, definitely draws a lot of interest on it.

Bowden shared how much Melanie loved her Aspen home and said that "Melanie was so interested and in love with this property that she was happy to go ahead and lend her name to it and entrust that name to us just so that people could understand what a special place this is."

Reportedly, Bowden thinks that The Griffith Estate is a great "steal at $8.9 million." He even said that "At this price, $1,000 a square foot, this actually represents a tremendous value."

Bowden knows how tight the market is in Aspen and that he also added that the word "expensive is relative in Aspen." It is still a fact that a lot of the rich and famous want to have their own property in Aspen.

New York Post shared that Melanie was starring in her home ad campaign and that she looked fabulous and fit in the video. She looked very comfortable and casual as she was seen in the video.

According to TMZ, the home was originally in the market for $9.9 million back in June. Melanie is reportedly ready to let go of the beautiful place that she once shared with ex-husband Antonio Banderas now that all her kids are already grown up.

The Griffith Estate on Aspen Mountain is a 12-acre property that has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a guest house.

The video campaign is set to be out on regional cable soon.
