NBA star Kevin Durant, who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, has upped the price of his Oklahoma City home by a quarter million. The residence is now asking $2.19 million, according to some news reports.

Durant listed the home sometime in September for $1.95 million. However, looks like he is quite the real estate watcher and believes that the home is much more worth than what he initially listed it for.

Durant apparently purchased the home for $1.7 million in 2011. According to the listing records at Realtor.com, the residence is a 5545 square feet contemporary house comprising of five bedrooms and three full and one half bathroom. Interiors feature wood beamed ceilings, hardwood and mixed floors with French doors and windows. Outside, the home has a large pool with a detached spa and sprawling greens. The residence has four parking spaces.

The listing describes the home as:

BEAUTIFUL Contemporary home in Gaillardia's Gated CLUB VILLA neighborhood_name, Rare find situated on 2 lots, featuring a Main house and large Guest house, An Elegant pool situated in between both homes is encompassed by mature trees ensuring ample privacy. Main house features 3 bedrooms with 2 located in the Guest house, Both homes offer loaded kitchens & family areas. Yard Maint. is included in the HOA dues...Must See!!!

Durant is definitely looking to take advantage of the slow heat-gathering market of the city. The Median sale price for August to November was $131,500. This accounts for a 3.7 percent decline on a quarter on quarter basis, reports Trulia.

Indeed, Oklahoma is a budding real estate area. Homes in the state are coming on the market with very affordable price tags. More recently, two suburbs, Midwest City and Moore, of the state topped Movoto Realty's "10 Most Affordable Suburbs in America" list.

Meanwhile, his career is also on the heat-track. Durant led the Oklahoma City Thunders to victory Thursday night, putting his best shooting skills on display. "Durant scored 28 points and the Thunder made 51.9 percent in beating the Los Angeles Clippers 105-91," reports the Associated Press.
