Cameron Diaz, the 'Bad Teacher' actress has reportedly plonked a good $9 million on a art deco condo in the Walker Tower located in the Chelsea neighbourhood of Manhattan, New York City, according to several news reports. Cameron has just signed contract and is yet to move into the residence.

Cameron, who hails from California, has been shooting for her upcoming movie 'Annie' in New York City and fell so much in love with the place that she decided to pick up a home in the city.

However, considering the features of the new residence, we don't think Cameron will feel like leaving home at all.

Listing records of the home state that the residence is 3022 square feet apartment, comprising of three bedrooms and three full and one half bathroom. The best feature of the home is its views. The residence provides for uninterrupted visuals of the Freedom tower and the Statue of Liberty.

Photos reveal plush interiors with hardwood floors and large glass windows, with an open floor plan. Building amenities include 24/7 concierge and doorman services, a library lounge, a bar, a state of art gym and yoga center, a children's playroom, a spa, a sun lawn and a cabana room.

The listing at Douglas Elliman describes the place as:

This residence features 3-bedrooms, 3.5-bathrooms, a home office and Southeast exposures with views of iconic NYC landmarks including the Statue of Liberty and Freedom Tower. The living space features a separate dining area and southern views. The master suite boasts southeastern views and offers abundant closet space. The second and third bedrooms both have en suite bathrooms and southern views.

Ryan Seacrest and Len Riggio, chairman of Barnes & Noble, also have homes in the Walker Building, which was converted to a residential structure in 2007. It was originally built for The New York Telephone Company in 1929 and was named after the architect, Ralph Walker, reports New York Daily News.

Apart from shooting for movies and picking up some property, Cameron also has her toes dipped in publishing. The 'Charlie's Angels' actress has reportedly penned a book on the importance of nutrition and health for young girls titled 'The Body Book'.

Cameron posted a photo of herself sans makeup on Instagram rejoicing the first hardbound edition of the book:
