"Dance Moms" star Maddie Ziegler may have just lost a spot in Sia's range of music videos. After starring in three, namely, "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart" and "Big Girls Cry," Sia recently tapped a young Japanese martial artist to appear in her newest video, "Alive."

According to The Huffington Post, Sia found nine-year-old Mahiro Takano on YouTube. After watching her videos, Sia was impressed with the young girl's moves. This is the reason why she decided to invite her to appear in "Alive."

The publication noted that Takano has instantly become even more popular after she appeared in the video, which is pretty much the same thing that happened to Ziegler. After appearing in multiple seasons of the hit Lifetime reality TV show, she also appeared in three of Sia's music videos.

People from all over the world, including those who don't really watch "Dance Moms," discovered the young dancer. Since then, Ziegler's professional career soared. She has appeared in different television shows, has walked on the runway for different fashion brands, and will also star in two upcoming movies. Needless to say, Ziegler is unstoppable.

However, some fans of the young talent are not very pleased with the fact that Sia just dropped Ziegler out of her latest music video. Some fans who idolize Ziegler believe that the ALDC dancer can also do similar moves even though she is not a trained martial artist.

On the other hand, some fans understand that Ziegler cannot always star in all of Sia's music videos because people will get tired of her. This doesn't mean though that the close friends are feuding.

In fact, during an interview with Harper's Bazaar, "The Book of Henry" gushed over the singer.

"But when we're off we always try to see each other in between. We just hang out, we went to brunch one time but for the most part I go to her house and we eat and we watch TV," she said.
