Attention theater fans! The diner is now open as the Waitress Musical Production hits on Broadway early next year. As recently announced in the Broadway website, the show's musical performances will start on March 25, 2016 while the opening gala is set on April 24 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

According to Theater Mania, Jessie Mueller will lead the act as Jenna and Eric Anderson from The Last Ship was casted to play Cal. Other artists includes Christopher Fitzgerald from Finian's Rainbow as Ogie; Drew Gehling from Jersey Boys as Dr. Pomatter and Dakin Matthews from Rocky as Joe. Kimiko Glenn from Orange Is the New Black was also listed to portray Dawn and Becky will be played by Keala Settle from Les Misérables. Charity Angél Dawson, Jeremy Morse, and Stephanie Torns will also be featured in the ensemble.

The musical production is spearheaded by Tony Award-winner, Diane Paulus as the director and Five-time Grammy Award-nominated singer songwriter Sara Bareilles as the music and lyrics composer. Sara Bareilles is also expected to debut her new album, "What's Inside: Songs From Waitress" today, November 6 as mentioned by the sources.

Also, Broadway World said that, Waitress was a sold out show and it has received a lot of good reviews from the audience in their recent performance in the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. This musical show is based on Adrienne Shelly's 2007 film and a featured book by Jessie Nelson.

The story runs in the life of Jenna, an expert pie baker, who is lamenting in fulfilling her dream of having her own pie shop and dealing with her unhappy marriage. Though an unexpected pregnancy came into her way, great opportunities also pass into her life as she joined a pie-making contest and a new guy appeared in the picture. She later then realized what the perfect and the key ingredient in her endeavors is courage.

This whole Broadway production is expected to be a masterpiece of pleasing music, rave humor, quirky acts and emotional impact.
