"Pretty Little Liars" will be returning with all-new episodes following its big reveal during the midseason finale, which ultimately exposed the real identity of A / Charles DiLaurentis, who has been taunting the girls since Season 1. As most PLL fans and viewers know by now, the ABC Family series will be returning to the small screens with a five-year time jump.
PLL Season 6 will show Aria (Lucy Hale), Hana (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Mona (Janel Parrish) and the rest of the characters five years after they found out the face behind A. In the newly released teaser trailer, fans saw the Liars' lives after A.
According to Teen Vogue, the thirty-second teaser of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 showed that the Liars remain haunted by the events of the past even after five years of living without A.
"They left Rosewood, it never left them," the teaser trailer flashes.
Meanwhile, executive producer Marlene King gave away several interesting details about PLL Season 6, including the possibility of a marriage taking place between Hanna and Caleb. According to Carter Matt, King revealed that something "big" is about to happen between the couple by the end of Season 6, which left many fans wondering if a wedding is about to happen for the couple.
A breakup is also expected between fan-favorite couple, Ezra and Aria. However, the executive producer hinted that these two "are going to be still in the same orbit."
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6B premieres on Jan. 12 on ABC Family.
