In the last episode of "Reign" Season 3, Mary (Adelaide Kane) proved that she will do anything to save her husband, and in this week's episode, she will prove her love for him once more.

According to Christian Today, in episode 4 of "Reign" Season 3, Francis (Toby Regbo) was already prepared to die, and he chose to spend his final moments with his wife in their home. However, Bash (Carson Reaume) and Charles (Spencer MacPherson) came in and revealed that they were able to get Delphine (Alexandra Ordolis) out of the convent just before the nuns planned to do an exorcism with her soul because they believed that she was possessed. Charles already knew that Delphine has the power to save Francis; however, Bash warned them that there is a price to pay for Francis' life.

Mary revealed that she would sacrifice her life for Francis and she is willing to pay for it so that he can live. Delphine performed the ritual to bring Francis back from the dead, but it was not Mary who had to pay the price but her mother, Marie de Guise (Amy Brenneman).

It seems like Francis has escaped death again this time, but in the next episode, Nostradamus (guest star Rossif Sutherland) will be returning to reveal something about the king's fate. According to the official synopsis of "Reign" Season 3 episode 5 posted on Cartermatt, Mary is thankful about her husband's revival, and she will give up her claim to the English throne to stay in France with Francis.

However, there is still a chance of a sad ending for the couple as Nostradamus revealed some disturbing visions about Francis' fate. In a promo video for episode 5, the prophet is heard saying that he saw strange dream-like images of Francis, and he added that there was blood.

"Reign" Season 3 episode 5 will air this Friday on The CW.
