Robin Thicke and his ex-wife, Paula Patton, may have moved on with their own lives, but their latest sighting proved that they are in good terms following their bitter divorce. The former couple was spotted together as they cheered and supported their five-year-old son Julian for his soccer game on Sunday, Nov.8.
It was not a rare sighting for Robin and his ex-wife, who have been photographed together in the past. On that day, the 39-year-old actress was accompanied by her mother, Joyce Vanraden, in the event. They were seen enjoying the sunny day as their son received a soccer trophy award, Daily Mail reports.
Last week, the "Blurred Lines" singer told Andy Cohen, host of Bravo's "Watch What Happens: Live," that he is in best terms with his former wife. Robin and his ex-wife had a not-so-good ending, and he even begged Paula to come back to him through his emotional album dedicated to her. However, he claimed that he's able to put the grudges behind him for their son's sake.
"The good thing is when you have that long of a friendship and you have a child that you can put first," Robin said in the interview. "The most important thing is giving him a healthy, happy life."
During the interview, Andy asked the "Back Together" singer if he had any regret for coming out in public to win back Paula. Robin claimed that he only regretted it when he didn't give the album for free to his fans. He told the Bravo show host that as an artist, he feels great that he was able to express his real feelings that time. However, he said that he should have given it for free instead.
Robin Thicke and his ex-wife ended their 10-year romance after his denial to address his habitual drug and alcohol use. He was also said to be involved in a series of cheating scandals. The 38-year-old singer has since moved on with his new girlfriend, 20-year-old model, April Love Geary, while Paula is in a relationship with a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, Zac Waters.
"Zak moved in with her a couple of weeks ago," a source close to Paula told Radar Online. "They are very happy together and he treats her how she deserves to be treated."
