The "Game of Thrones" Season 6 is yet to be shown next year but a lot of rumors and spoilers have already circled the Internet many times over.
The brain behind of HBO's most watched show ever is George R. R. Martin, the author of the fantasy sage, "A Song of Ice and Fire." According to him, he never thought the series would catch with the book so quickly.
Recently, according to Entertainment Weekly, Martin went back to his alma mater to accept the Hall of Achievement alumni award from the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications. In a panel of discussion, the famous author said, "The show, of course, has caught up to me, which I didn't actually think would ever happen. "I had such a huge lead, but the truth is, I'm a very slow writer."
As for his inspiration for "The Wall, he said to Chicago Tribune, he recalled his own experience at Northwestern, during a Chicago blizzard in 1967. "There was so much snow that winter, you couldn't see, all snow, all ice, and it was so very cold. "I remember walking through the trenches and the tunnels of ice, the wind blowing so you couldn't even see," he continued. "It's an experience that never left me."
When asked about the fate of Jon Snow, he said he cannot reveal any of it and said fans would just have to read the book.
On the other hand, another leak surfaced, deemed to be an epic battle coming to The Wall. Fan site Watchers on the Wall thoerized that there is a battle between Houses Bolton, Karstark, Umber and Stark represented by Kit Harrington's Jon Show (it has been speculated that he is alive although nobody knows how or if it is even true). No one breathe a word on when it is coming or who would emerge the victor but Jon Ramsay might be dead next season.
Another spoiler is that there would be a new Red Queen, according to Esquire, based on the leaked audition script. In addition some of the old characters will return next season, including Bran, Hodor and Osha.
Too many theories, leaks and spoilers fans do not know how to react or what to do about them but one thins is certain, everybody can't wait until the next season and it cannot come fast enough. Then there is the next book that might be released soon. What would you do? Read the book first or just wait for "Game of Thrones" Season 6 premiere?
