"Kung Fu Panda 3" will continue the much awaited next chapter to the adventures of Po the panda, after a lot of changes on the film's release date.

DreamWorks Animation film has released its new trailer showcasing main protagonist Po, who makes a shift from once being the student to now being the master of an entire village in order to protect their kind.

According to Vine Report, in the new trailer, Po is seen going to meet his long lost father, and he will discover a secret community of other pandas - previously thought to be extinct already. With the rise of a threat, Po must use kung fu once more and teach all their kind how to protect themselves.

Jack Black will be in "Kung Fu Panda 3" reprising his role as Po, and will be joined by Randall Duk Kim (as Oogway), Dustin Hoffman (as Master Shifu), Angelina Jolie (as Tigress), Lucy Liu (as Viper), and Jackie Chan (as Monkey). Bryan Cranston will play the role of Po's father, Li, while Kate Hudson will have the role of Mei Mei, the panda that's meant to be the wife of Po. Playing the role of the villain is J.K. Simmons, as the supernatural bull, Kai.

Coming Soon said that as Po continues his legendary adventures in the animated feature film sequel, he will face two hugely epic enemies: one supernatural, and the other a little closer to home. When his long-lost father suddenly appears, the duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet new panda characters. When the supernatural villain begins to sweep across China smashing all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible to protect the village, so Po trains his clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas.

The first two chapters of the critically-acclaimed "Kung Fu Panda" franchise opened in 2008 and 2011. Both films were nominated for Best Animated Feature Film.

20th Century Fox will open "Kung Fu Panda 3" in theaters on Jan. 29, 2016.
