Justin Bieber is making waves in 2015. The "What Do You Mean" singer spoke about his former girlfriend, Selena Gomez, once again to Ellen Degeneres on the "The Ellen Show," which will be aired on Monday. The singer claimed he is still hoping that he and Selena will be together again someday and shared that his series of singles, especially the track "Sorry," was inspired by her.

Talking honestly with DeGeneres, the 21-year-old crooner said that he finds his split with his former flame so complicated as she reminds him a lot of things about their relationship. He said that it's difficult because he sometimes sees something on the television or smells something that would remind him of the "Good For You" singer, Daily Mail reports.

"It is tough," Bieber told the talk show host. "There's a lot of stuff that reminds me of her."

When DeGeneres asked if there's a possibility of reconciliation between the two, he answered, "Maybe. We have a lot of history together so maybe, it possibly could happen, but I think we're both just on our own journeys of just figuring ourselves out and I think maybe once we figure ourselves out we can come together and make an awesome duo. I just want her to be happy, honestly."

As he continued his conversation with the 57-year-old witty talk show host, Bieber admitted that the songs, "What Do You Mean?" "Mark My Words" and "Sorry" were inspired by the former Disney star.

Meanwhile, while the Calvin Klein model was frank in admitting his wish to get back together with Gomez, the 23-year-old singer is reportedly happy to learn about it because she's also wishing the same thing, Hollywood Life reports.

"Selena loves that Justin is talking about getting back together because they still talk about the future as if there will be one," an insider said. "They are in the same boat and know that these feelings they have for each other will lead them back to each other eventually. But they know they have to be young first, make mistakes, live life... and then come back together when they're ready. Because they don't want to lose each other when they try again."

It was not the first time that Bieber talked about Gomez in his interview. In his most recent interview with Access Hollywood on Nov. 3, he also talked about his hope of reconciling with her. He claimed they both needed space to figure things out so they could finally be together in the end -- no turning back.

Do you think Bieber and Gomez will get back together soon?
