The new big bad for Rick Grimes and his men is named! The Saviors' most horrific villain, Negan is now known and will be portrayed by "The Good Wife" actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan! While this is an exciting news for both the avid comic fanatics and the viewers of "The Walking Dead" series, this may not go well for one of the heroines in Grimes' men.

"The Walking Dead" Negan casting has been one of the most speculated portrayals in the history of the series because the big bad's entrance on the show may mean the end of one of the character's journey in the wake of zombies. If based in accordance to "The Walking Dead" comics by Robert Kirkman, the appearance of Negan in the story may mean the unlucky fate for Steven Yeun's character Glenn who was killed by the "big bad" in the comics.

Negan first appeared on Kirkman's TWD comics in the 100th issue and he is the destructive group leader of the Saviors who Grimes and his men may eventually come across in their journey to Alexandria.

"The Walking Dead" spoilers reveal the many speculated actors to play the villainous part according to hitfix are Matt Dillon, Garret Dillahunt, and Timothy Olyphant. But apparently, Morgan snagged the part and  TVLine reports that the 49-year-old "Watchmen" actor is expected to grace in the role of the AMC zombie series towards the end of "The Walking Dead" season 6 and appear as a regular on season 7.

"The Walking Dead" Rick Grimes' Andrew Lincoln has also thought even before that the appearance of Negan will be expected in their journey. Lincoln said to THR, "there are astonishingly brilliant and thrilling characters that I am convinced we would be idiots not to meet in our journey; I would be very surprised if we don't see Negan on the horizon in the not-too-distant future."
