The prequel of the FX series "Sons of Anarchy" has long been awaited by the viewers and there are still build-up speculations about the line-up of the upcoming prequel. It was evident that the last season of the crime drama ended the life of Jax Teller in the series but many are still hopeful that Charlie Hunnam will be back to portray the younger version of his character as Jax Teller.
According to Inquisitr, Kurt Sutter, the creator of "Sons of Anarchy" has opened up about the details of the prequel in his interview with Deadline. It was revealed that Sutter would be telling the further backstory of the FX series and would open up starting from the meeting of John Teller and his wife, Piney, in Vietnam.
"At some point I do have plans to hopefully do the prequel," said Sutter in the interview. "Which I do see as a one-off ten or twelve episode thing where we begin in [Vietnam] and see John Teller and Piney and see how that relationship got created."
Apart from this, the showrunner would also cover up the storyline from where Teller and his wife moves back to the States and include the details of how the MC came to be.
"[Then we'll] bring them back to the States and the obvious external dynamics that were going on with the country and the perception of the war and what an odd kind of perception these vets got when they returned home," Sutter revealed to Deadline. "And then have it be the development of the club, ending before we start to get too close to some of the mythology that's already been established."
Although, it wasn't clear whether or not Hunnam will be back to portray the role, Inquisitr also reports that Sutter is considering in bringing in some past characters from the last seasons of "Sons of Anarchy" which may involve Hunnam.
"It doesn't mean that there couldn't be some cool, ironic crossovers with familiar characters as the series progressed," told Sutter.
