You can live like the King of Rock and Roll for $45,000 a month.
The Beverly Hills estate of Elvis Presley and his wife Priscilla Presley has come up on the rental market, reports The Realtor Blog.
The current owner of the Trousdale Estates is Peter Morton, the co-founder of Hard Rock Café, who purchased the place for $9.8 million in January 2013.
Elvis and his wife Priscilla had purchased the home in 1967 for $4 million and sold it when they separated. The home was put up for rent for $250,000 a month before being listed in October for $12.9 million.
Does this mean the home will hit the sale block soon? While we are not sure about that, we do know that Burger King, the fast food giant, would definitely be interested if it is ever up for sale.
In November 2013, rumors had it that the Burger King wanted to expand. It had even offered $3.9 million for the musical-pedigree home!
The multi-wing Beverly Hills property of the legendary singer sits in an affluent neighborhood, which is also home to celebrities like Jennifer Anniston and David Spade.
The main unit spreads across 5367 square feet on a big 1.19 acre lot and was recently renovated. The home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms with spacious living and dining areas. There is also a family room, an office and a media room. A new modern kitchen was installed during renovations. The home features slider doors and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide scenic views of the canyons and the city. The home opens out into patios that overlook the garden area. A swimming pool, a spa and a four-car garage and a motor court make up the exteriors of the property.
