The Entertainment One UK has finally released the much-anticipated international trailer of Triple 9. The first trailer of this thriller, intense and action-packed film by John Hillcoat of Lawless has a growing number of views now on Youtube but the the latest trailer for U.K. will surely excite all fans as it features a lot of stars from different shows.
This film is somewhat a crossover of True Detective, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Titanic, Deadpool and 12 Years a Slave in one place as it is starred remarkable actors like Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Norman Reedus, Woody Harrelson, Kate Winslet, Michael K. Williams and Gal Gadot. According to Independent, Shia LaBeouf, Charlie Hunnam, Christoph Waltz and Cate Blanchett were considered to be part of the movie.
In an interview, Hillcoat added that, "It's a challenge, arranging everyone's schedules and trying to accomplish something with eight main characters. I've never worked on something quite like this,".
The international trailer has also featured new scenes and close up views among the stars. According to IndieWire, the movie depicts the life of a group of robbers and a crew of dirty cops who chase after one another. As cited from the official film overview, "When a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist, they realize the only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for "officer down". The chaos that ensues when a police officer is shot in the line of duty is just the diversion they'll need to do the job, but whether they have the will to kill one of their own is an entirely different matter. Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action packed finale tangled with double-crosses, greed and revenge."
Reports say that 'Triple 9' will push it's airing in theaters starting February 19, 2016.
