Leah Remini is probably basking in the glory of the success of her newly released book, "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology." When she had the interview with "20/20,"Tom Cruise's name came up, him being the symbol of the church organization, Scientology. Readers received it with interest. Prior to its release, curiosity peaked.

The "Mission Impossible" actor, however, has been reported to be furious regarding Remini's revelation and that Cruise sees the content of the book a form of betrayal. A source tell US Weekly that Cruise is freaking out but will never speak about Remini ever. The same source added that "Leah is what the church calls a 'suppressive person,' so she's evil in his mind. He wipes the memory of any SP out of his life. He's letting the Scientology people discredit her."

In response to Remini's "20/20" interview and book release, the organization released a statement saying, "Sadly, bitterness and anger are common threads through Ms. Remini's life," they wrote.  "Rather than take responsibility for self-inflicted problems, she is quick to blame others. Her repeated ethical lapses and callous treatment of others led to an ecclesiastical review which resulted in her being expelled. She now regurgitates the tired myths the Church has repeatedly debunked, circulated by the same tiny clique of expelled former staffers bitter at having lost the positions they enjoyed before their malfeasance and unethical conduct were uncovered."

Apparently, as reported by Daily Mail, Cruise did not find out about Remini's revelation on his own. He heard about it from Scientology people because he does not have time to follow the news and surf the Internet.

Part of the book, Daily Mail continues, was recalling what Remini witnessed when she was still with Scientology, including Tom berating his assistant after he was served tea in a chipped mug and not getting the right cookie dough he was going to use to bake with friends.

It seems that despite the controversies surrounding Remini's revelations, Tom is still focused on filming "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back To Codie Smulders," scheduled to be released October 2016.
