The mansion owned by the late Donald Wexler located in Palm Springs in California is now on sale with a price tag of $1.75 million. The Palm Spring mansion is a single-story family estate which was designed by Wexler himself, who is known to be a mid-century modern architect, a report from LA Times said on Thursday.

Wexler's mansion was built in 1955, and his family lived there for 38 years. The post-and beam expansion of the house in 1960 and the restorations made in 2008 were all done by Wexler.

The whole property sits on a 12,632-square-foot lot while the size of the house is estimated to be 2,424 square feet. The family estate has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. IT features floor-to-ceiling glass walls, wide overhangs and doors that open to terraces, and a saltwater swimming pool, among others.

Home buyers will surely be lured to the property's spacious open living room and dining room. The house has a complete set of "stainless-steel appliances, den/office, breakfast area, terrazzo floors, patio, perimeter privacy wall and mountain views."

"The sublime three-bedroom, 2,424-square-foot residence sits behind a privacy wall and features gorgeous landscaping work by William Kopelk and Marcello Villano. Inside, the L-shaped home looks ultra polished with terrazo floors, restored beams, updated furnishings, and large glass walls connecting rooms to outside terraces and a saltwater pool," Curbed said.

"The median sale price for single-family homes in the 92262 ZIP Code in September was $470,000 based on 34 sales. That was a 10.6% decrease in median price from September 2014," LA Times said, citing a report from CoreLogic.
