Pretty Woman star Julia Roberts has recently sold her Greenwich Village apartment $5.35 million, sixteen days after putting it on the market, 6sqft reported.

When the penthouse was listed on the market a few months ago, it was priced as $4.5 million, but buyer Nicolas de Croisset, a financier married to Vogue's Phoebe de Croisset, bought it even more than its asking price for an unknown reason, according to Observer.

The property located at 45 West 10th Street was purchased by Roberts back in 2010 for $3.9 million where she spent some time with husband, Danny Moder and their three children. But the family did not live in the penthouse.

The apartment has 2,000-square-foot space featuring three-bedroom, three-bathroom with a wood-burning fireplace and a terrace. The space has a beachy feel which gives a relaxing and cozy aura. In the listing held by Stribling’s Alexa Lambert and Marc Achilles, the space is defined as “easy and breezy with a magical feeling.”

One feature that made the apartment attractive is its views from the terrace and the terrace itself. It also has over 50 feet of "living room, dining and library expanse with glass doors opening onto an entertaining-size terrace with open views over the charming buildings of The Village." Also included in the house is an open kitchen featuring high-quality appliances. Said kitchen is perfectly tucked back away from the dining room making it perfect for both casual and even more formal gatherings.

Aside from this penthouse, the Oscar-winner actress also owns another NYC apartment at 7 Gramercy Park West which has a good view of the park. Also part of Robert's real estate portfolio is her ranch in New Mexico, a lovely Malibu mansion, and a Hawaiian estate which she listed this spring.

What prompted Roberts and her family to sell the property is their frequent stay in California. With that, she might feel that having two penthouses in the area is already excessive. Her other NYC apartment in Gramercy is currently being rented out, NY Curbed reported.
