"Outlander" Season 2 is based on Diana Gabaldon's second book titled "Dragonfly in Amber," which is said to be a more complex book than the first one. While the sophomore season of the Starz time traveler series is expected to take on a more political tone, as Jamie and Claire travel all the way to France to visit Bonnie Prince Charlie, it looks like they will also have some issues of their own.

In an interview with TV Guide Magazine (via IBTimes), Sam Heughan admitted that Jamie and Claire will be struggling with squeezing in some time for their parenting responsibilities. Jamie and Claire will be so wrapped up with the political issues that they will be having a hard time embracing their new roles as parents. The Scottish actor, however, believed that Jamie will make for a "great dad."

Caitriona Balfe, on the other hand, expressed her thoughts on Jamie and Claire as parents and said that their personalities and outlook in life will definitely influence their child. Meanwhile, "Outlander" Season 2 updates from showrunner Jessica Bergeault revealed that the cast and crew are only down to two more blocks before filming wraps up, Scotland Now reported.

"Another block finished, two more to go. Time flies! #outlander," the showruner tweeted.

"Outlander" Season 2 has been filming in several locations and the cast and crew have been recently spotted in Prague. It has been revealed before that filming is set to take place in Prague for scenes in Paris and the remaining parts will be shot in Scotland.
