A new rumor has surfaced saying that the anticipated video game "Pokémon Z" will be officially released in early 2016. The developer has not yet confirmed the rumored release date, but various reports suggest that both "Pokémon Z" and "Pokémon Go" are likely to be released next year, Master Herald said.

"The most prominent rumors about the release date of the new games point towards February 2016 as the most likely version, although there is also speculation about other dates. Nothing has been said officially yet, so it's hard to tell where the truth lies, and the studio has of course been very quiet on the situation, so we have no news on that front," the report said.

It can be recalled that back in September, the Pokémon Company reportedly released a magazine titled "Pokémon X, Y, and Z," which contains essential information about the game's potential release date. The inclusion of "Zygarde" in the game suggests that the game's sixth installment will be released soon.

"Pokémon Z" will be focused on the character of Zygarde, one of the three Legendary characters that will come in five different forms. It was reported that Zygarde will start as a blob referred to as Zygarde Core before he transforms into a Cell. The next form will involve an evolution of 10 percent, a dog-like creature, then 50 percent into a Snake-like creature, and finally a Mega-evolution that will surpass the powers of Xerneas and Yveltal, Yibada reports.

According to Yibada, "Pokémon Go" is slated to be released next month, and the company will also release the "Pokémon Go Plus" which will serve as a companion app to the title. The company said that fans can download the augmented reality game in both Android and iOS-powered devices.

"Will February 27 be the big day for fans of the franchise waiting for 'Pokemon GO'? The current rumors seem to point in that direction, and it would also make sense in light of the 20th anniversary of some parts of the franchise," Master Herald said.
